Writer's Digest Finalist

Holly Bills is a finalist in the Writer's Digest competition "Your Story #120." Her entry was selected by the editors as one of the top twelve out of over 250 entrants. Voters will pick the top ten, and the winners will be published in an upcoming issue of Writer's Digest magazine.

Entrants had to write the opening line (one sentence only) based upon the designated picture.
