Low country healer,
Summon your soiree
Where brackish waters beckon
And reeds flutter gilded fans.
Where cicada symphonies
Rosin their bows; poised, ready
For the waltz of the fireflies.
Strings of crystalled stars,
Chandeliered glass moon.
Bounties of the marsh catered
By high tides and rising flow.
Dance card filled by lapping waves,
Fingers but skim the surface.
Twilight wetlands, my heart sighs.
